02What serverlist.net is

serverlist.net is a list of Minecraft servers. We ping every listed server once a minute, rank servers by player votes and show what we measure: players, uptime, versions and history. The details are on how we measure.

We may change, pause or stop parts of the service. We try to keep listings, votes and history intact through every change, and we announce larger changes on the site.

03Accounts

You need an account to list a server, reply to reviews or buy a boost. You need to be at least 13 years old to create one.

When you create an account you agree to:

• give a real email address that you can read
• keep your password to yourself and tell us if someone else got into your account
• use one account per person, not accounts made to vote or review more than once
• be responsible for what happens in your account

You can delete your account at any time in account settings. Deletion takes effect after 14 days, so a mistake can still be undone. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

04Server listings

Only list a server you run or have permission to list. A listing must describe the server people actually reach at its address.

Listings, descriptions, banners, links and screenshots must not:

• contain false or misleading information, including copied player counts or claims you cannot back up
• point at another network's address or pretend to be another server
• break the law, infringe someone else's rights or include hate, harassment or sexual content
• sell gameplay advantages in ways the Minecraft Usage Guidelines do not allow
• link to malware, phishing, account generators or other harmful downloads
• stuff keywords or repeat the same listing under several names

Listings that never answer our pings, or only answer with a placeholder, are marked as offline and may stop being shown in lists and search engines. We may edit tags, hide duplicates, merge listings for the same server or remove a listing that breaks these rules.

You keep the rights to the content you add. You allow us to show it on serverlist.net, in previews such as Discord embeds and social cards, and in our own reports, and to resize, crop or convert images so they display well.

05Cracked and offline mode servers

Some servers let players join without a verified Microsoft account. They are listed and labeled as cracked so players know what to expect. Our guide on cracked servers explains the risks.

Listings must not link to, host or promote pirated copies of Minecraft, pirated plugins or cracked launchers, and we do not either. Listings that do are removed.

06Votes

Each player can vote for a server once every 24 hours. Votes count toward the ranking for 30 days and stay in the server's history.

These are not allowed:

• voting with bots, scripts or auto voters
• voting with names that are not yours, or with many names from one person
• using proxies, VPNs or new accounts to get around the cooldown
• paying people to vote, beyond the in-game rewards a server gives every voter

We remove votes that break these rules and may hide or penalize listings that keep collecting them.

07Reviews

Reviews must be about your own experience on the server. We hide reviews that are spam, gibberish, insults, personal data or written by the owner about their own server, and anyone can report a review.

Owners can reply once to each review. Replies follow the same rules as reviews.

08Boosts and refunds

A boost is self-service advertising: your listing appears in a fixed slot of the server list for a number of whole weeks, labeled as sponsored. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Your campaign starts as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, or at the start of the window you picked if the slot is booked. You see the exact start before you pay, and by buying a boost you ask us to start at that time.

You can cancel within 60 minutes of the payment confirmation, from your boost orders page, once every 30 days. The window is measured by our servers in UTC and shown on the order page with a countdown. Other refund requests go through support@serverlist.net. When you cancel:

• a booking that has not started is refunded in full, and a booking that is already live is refunded minus the hours it ran, counted per started hour, to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days
• the campaign stops at once and the slot is released
• there is no cancellation fee
• after 60 minutes the purchase is final, whatever the number of impressions, clicks, votes or players
• a campaign suspended because the listing broke these terms is not refunded, also within the 60 minutes

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived. If a fault on our side keeps your campaign from showing for a real part of its time, write to us within 14 days of the end date with your order number and we look at it case by case.

Slots are sold first come, first served. Prices and the longest bookable time can change, but the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.

We do not promise results. Impressions and clicks on your order page are our own measurements. A chargeback instead of using the refund window stops the campaign and can lead to the account being suspended.

09Advertising on the site

Sponsored list slots are always labeled. Ads from Google AdSense are labeled as advertisements and sit in fixed places. Guides and reports are never paid for, and we do not use affiliate links.

Banner campaigns agreed with us directly follow the same content rules as listings.

10Our content

Guides, reports, charts, the design and the code of serverlist.net belong to us. You may quote short parts and link to any page. Please credit serverlist.net when you use our numbers.

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang. serverlist.net is not an official Minecraft service and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

11What you may not do

On or against serverlist.net, do not:

• break the law or help someone else break it
• try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours
• overload the site, scrape it at a rate that slows it down or get around rate limits
• send spam, phishing or malware
• pretend to be someone else, including our team or another server
• collect other users' personal data
• use the site to harass anyone

12Liability

We work hard to keep the site running and the numbers right, but we provide serverlist.net as it is. Servers on the list are run by their owners, not by us, and we are not responsible for what happens on them, including purchases you make in their stores.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits from using the site or from it being unavailable. You are responsible for claims that arise from your listings and content.

13Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top. For changes that matter, we also tell account holders by email or on the site before they apply.

The boost and refund rules last changed on 18 October 2026, and every order records the version it was bought under.
