1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ServerList.net ("the Website" or "the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ServerList.net, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Website. Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service.
2. Description of Service
ServerList.net is a platform that provides server listing services for Minecraft and other game servers. We offer:
- Free and paid server listing services
- Server ranking and voting systems
- Analytics and statistics for server owners
- Advertising and promotional services
- Tools and resources for server management
3. User Accounts
Account Registration
To use certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and identification
- Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
4. Server Listings
Listing Requirements
When listing a server on ServerList.net, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information about your server
- Maintain an active, accessible server that matches the information provided
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not list servers that promote illegal activities, hate speech, or harmful content
- Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
- Respect intellectual property rights of others
Prohibition of Piracy and Cracked Servers
ServerList.net does not allow, promote, or condone piracy, software piracy, or cracked servers in any form. We strictly prohibit:
- Any content, servers, or listings that promote, facilitate, or enable software piracy
- Cracked servers, pirated software, or any form of copyright infringement
- Servers that allow unauthorized access to copyrighted software or games
- Any promotion or facilitation of activities that violate intellectual property rights
Servers listed on our platform must comply with all applicable copyright laws. Violations may result in immediate removal and permanent ban.
Content Guidelines
Server listings, descriptions, banners, and other content must not:
- Contain false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Contain offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content
- Promote illegal activities or harmful behavior
- Include spam, excessive links, or unrelated promotional content
Server Removal
We reserve the right to remove, suspend, or modify any server listing at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that it violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable laws.
5. Voting and Reviews
Vote Manipulation
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to vote
- Offering incentives in exchange for votes (unless explicitly allowed)
- Creating multiple accounts to vote for the same server
- Using proxy servers or VPNs to circumvent vote limits
- Any other form of vote manipulation or fraud
Violations may result in vote removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
Reviews
Reviews must be honest and based on actual experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are false, misleading, spam, offensive, or submitted with conflicts of interest.
6. Advertising Services
Advertising Packages
We offer various advertising services including featured placement, premium positioning, banner advertisements, and sponsored listings. Server Boosts are self-service advertising products that place your server listing at a fixed position (a "slot") in our server directory for a fixed number of whole weeks.
Advertising Terms
When purchasing advertising services, you agree to provide accurate payment and billing information, comply with all advertising guidelines, and not use our services for illegal or prohibited content. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
Immediate Delivery and Your Right of Withdrawal
Server Boosts are digital advertising services that are delivered immediately. The moment your payment is confirmed by our payment provider, our system automatically creates and starts your advertising campaign without any further action by you or by us. Your server begins appearing in the purchased slot, and begins receiving impressions from real visitors, within seconds of payment.
By completing a Boost purchase you expressly request that we begin performing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. This express request is confirmed by the acceptance checkbox shown at checkout.
A full refund is available only within 60 minutes of the time your payment is confirmed. After 60 minutes, the purchase is final and no refund will be issued.
Why the window is one hour: your campaign goes live automatically the instant payment clears. Once it has been running for more than an hour it has already been shown to real visitors and the advertising value has been delivered and cannot be returned to us or resold.
Within the first 60 minutes you may cancel from your Boost orders page. When you do:
- The full amount you paid is refunded to your original payment method
- Your campaign is stopped immediately and the slot is released for sale
- You keep no advertising credit and are charged no cancellation fee
- The refund is issued by Stripe and normally reaches your bank in 5 to 10 business days
After 60 minutes have elapsed, the sale is final. No refunds, partial refunds, credits or pro rata adjustments are provided for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Dissatisfaction with the number of impressions, clicks, votes or players received
- Removal, suspension or banning of your server for violating these Terms
- You voluntarily unpublishing, deleting or changing your server listing
- Downtime of your own Minecraft server during the campaign period
- Temporary technical issues, maintenance or downtime of ServerList.net
- Changing your mind, buying the wrong slot, or buying the wrong duration
- Purchasing a slot that overlaps a campaign you already own
The 60 minute window is measured from the timestamp at which our payment provider confirms your payment, which is recorded on your order and shown on your Boost order page together with a live countdown. Time is measured by our servers in UTC.
Chargebacks or payment disputes raised instead of using the refund window will result in immediate suspension of the campaign and may result in suspension of your account and of your server listings.
Exceptional Refunds at Our Discretion
Nothing in this policy limits any right you may have under mandatory consumer law that cannot be waived by agreement. Separately, and entirely at our own discretion, we may issue a refund outside the 60 minute window if we determine that a technical fault on our side prevented your campaign from being displayed for a material part of its purchased duration. Such refunds are granted case by case, are not automatic, and do not create any entitlement to a refund in any other case. To request one, contact us within 14 days of the campaign end date with your order number.
Slot Availability and Scheduling
Slots are sold on a first come, first served basis for a specific time window. If the slot you want is already occupied you may be offered the next available start date. Prices, slot availability and the maximum bookable duration are set by us and may change at any time. Any change to pricing applies only to new orders. The price shown to you at checkout is the price you pay and is fixed for the duration of that order.
Advertising Performance
We do not guarantee specific results, traffic, clicks, conversions, votes, player counts or other performance metrics. Advertising performance may vary based on seasonality, competition, the quality of your listing and other factors beyond our control. Impression and click figures shown on your order page are our own measurements and are provided for information only.
Advertising Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel advertising services at any time if your server violates our Terms, your content is inappropriate, you engage in fraud or vote manipulation, or where required by law. Where we suspend a campaign because of your breach of these Terms, no refund will be provided, including within the 60 minute window.
7. Intellectual Property
Our Content
All content on ServerList.net, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and code, is the property of ServerList.net or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your Content
By submitting content to ServerList.net, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content in any media. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to grant this license.
8. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Promoting, facilitating, or enabling software piracy or cracked servers
- Transmitting viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service
- Using automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Collecting user information without consent
- Impersonating others or providing false information
- Engaging in any form of fraud or deception
- Spamming, phishing, or other malicious activities
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERVERLIST.NET AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OUR SERVERS, ANY INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, OR THE PERFORMANCE OR NON-PERFORMANCE OF ADVERTISING SERVICES.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USING THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ServerList.net and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your server listing or content.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
