How reliable are Minecraft servers? We ping every listed server about once a minute: how many reach 99.9%, how long outages last, by region and host.
How many players do Minecraft servers have?
Measured on every running server we list: what a typical server averages, how much the biggest few hold, why slot counts mislead, and the split by mode.

Where the numbers come from
Every listed server gets a Java ping once a minute, and a Bedrock ping when it publishes a Bedrock address. A server counts as playable only when it answers with an open world: sleep pages, maintenance text and zero slots count as answered but not playable.
Shared lobbies and listings that point at someone else's network are left out of every total. Charts and live figures update from the same rollups as the server pages. The full rules are on how we measure.
