Raiding servers allow, and reward, breaking into other players' bases. That includes factions and HCF with TNT cannons, raidable SMPs and servers with dedicated raid windows. Defending what you build is as important as building it. Raiding rewards planning and teamwork, and it punishes bases built in the open with no thought for defence.
Check the raid windows, offline raid protection, whether cannons are allowed and how bases can be protected. Factions explained covers the most common raiding rules.
Right now 734 players are on the 6 raiding servers that answer our pings, out of 13 listed. Over the last four weeks, the busiest hour was around 14:00 UTC. Measured at 23:19 UTC.

Questions
Questions about raiding servers
What is raiding in Minecraft?
Raiding means breaking into another player's or team's base to take their loot, usually with TNT, cannons or by finding a weak spot in their walls.
What is offline raid protection?
Offline raid protection makes a base harder or impossible to raid while its owners are offline, so you do not lose everything while you sleep.
Can you raid on SMP servers?
Only on SMPs that allow it. Most SMPs forbid griefing and stealing, while raidable SMPs make it part of the game. Read the rules first.
